Finished watching Season 5 of Stargate SG-1 last night... and... yeah. Now I want to watch 6. And 7. And 8. And 1 through 4. *sigh*

Also, for the record, my wife is superior to Amanda Tapping in every way. I mean, I'm sure Ms. Tapping's a nice person and all, but I just want to make sure no one (else) got the wrong impression from yesterday's post.

I seem to have gotten into one of those loops where I keep getting the same e-mails over and over. How irritating.

Dave-in-Iraq business: I want to let everyone know that August 20th is the cut-off for sending me packages. Mail is probably still okay, but don't send me any packages after August 20th, okay?

And that date is just a guesstimate, since no one tells me anything around here. The NCOs in my section hoard "word" like it's gold or something. Even when, as in this case, if the Company 1st Sgt inspects the postmark on the package, he'll start asking painful questions about why I didn't tell these people to stop sending me stuff.

Also, Hi to my godparents, Uncle Gary and Aunt Donna. I understand Aunt Donna reads this thingy daily, so... no more swearing. :)
