Actually, I had a pretty good time hanging out with my kids all weekend, but I didn’t get done a lot of the things that I needed to. Hannah had a good day today, eating well and not throwing up, which was good, but the wife spent her second straight day in bed.

The one thing I did get done was write a book review, which will hopefully see the light of day some day and maybe lead to a regular gig. Plus I did a lot of laundry and dishes, but that had as much to do with people being sick as it did with regular chores needing to get done. Still, it will be kind of nice to work from home tomorrow and have the kids off to their regular destinations. Tarri will probably still be home, but so far she’s been able to take care of herself.

And the Giants won. I’m actually pretty geeked. It’s kind of fitting, because the last time the SuperBowl coincided with my wife’s birthday, five years ago, the underdog, come-from-nowhere Patriots beat the kingly St. Louis Rams and began their current reign of awesomeness. Kind of time for them to be taken down a peg, I think. It was pretty enjoyable to watch, even though it is New York which I would love to see never win another sports championship ever again, because of how insufferable NYC’s residents can be about it. Although since the end of the Red Sox curse, Bostonians are really working hard to catch up.

Anyway, that’s been my weekend. How was yours?
