Nerdy, and Not
Jan. 11th, 2005 06:48 amSo, yeah... not a big nerd, but I knew that. I had Issues with science classes late in high school right about the time I discovered that the total nerd's life was not for me, so I went into the slightly less geekier world of history and Russian. I did build my own computer, though.
Adjusting to working days has turned out interesting. I'm having a hell of a time sleeping through the night, and I woke up today about seven times between 4am and 6am when I finally got out of bed. Had the most ridiculous dream that I was at Agincourt fighting the French... and it looked nothing like Ken Brannagh's epic battle scene. In fact, it looked like nothing real at all, though the outcome was about the same. The crazy part was berating the Dauphin afterwards for fleshing out his army's ranks with conscripted immigrants. And that the whole battle seemed to take place in Agincourt Stadium (with the leaky roof, contributing to the historically muddy conditions), decorated to look like a castle.
No, really, I'm fine.

Enough for now, I think. Maybe more tonight if I get on the ball.
