davidklecha: Listening to someone else read the worst of my teenage writing. (greenarrow)
Mmmm... Allegro.

Writing Progress--Weekend Wasted )

Writing suffered, in part because I spent much of Saturday getting littlest brother from Lansing, going to a hockey game with him and [livejournal.com profile] tappu, [livejournal.com profile] sdrawkcabyaj, [livejournal.com profile] fightin_icegrrl, [livejournal.com profile] luchie, the BIL, the FIL, and a couple other friends who have no journals and thus suck (just kidding). [livejournal.com profile] sdrawkcabyaj got use of his company's suite, which, I'm convinced, is a damn fine way to watch a hockey game. And then I took littlest brother back to Lansing that night, which meant I slept well into Sunday. By the time I did the shopping that [livejournal.com profile] tappu requested, the Lions were on, and winning, so I kept getting torn from the computer to watch that... and excuses and excuses.

But, the Griffins won, in exciting fashion, and so did the Lions. The Griffins made me miss hockey a whole lot, and I shake my fist at everyone involved in holding up the NHL season this year. Jerks. And the Lions made me wish they would start playing even better...

In job news, I got a call tonight to schedule a phone interview for a tech job in Lansing. I'm very excited, even though this interview won't be until Friday, which leaves me three solid days, now, to fret and dream up scenarios where they don't ever call me ever again, since that seems to be the general pattern with Job Hunt '04. But, I'm optimistic. Honest.

Anyway, (while I get caught up in a conversation about machine guns in an IRC chat) that's about all that's going on in this here place, other than that pregnancy stuff and this Christmas business.
