Major Spoilers for Angels & Demons by Dan Brown )

Anyway, I wrote about 4500 words over the last two days for one of my labors of love, and that means it's coming along nicely. Early next month is shaping up to be a real possibility.

It looks like I won't be going on QRF, which means there's a distinct possibility that my schedule will stay much the same as it currently is... which is a major relief. Seems the guys doing that have just a little too structured of a day for my tastes, and keeping things going at my own pace is favorable.

Know what's odd? I'm getting cold a lot over here. Air conditioning is to blame. One of my roommates, in particular, likes to keep it at about 65F ... which can be nice in certain circumstances, but when it's 115F outside... the difference is just too much. It's too hard to acclimate when you're oscillating between such differences. Not that I want to do without air conditioning entirely, of course. Does make me sound ungrateful, doesn't it? But damn. I shouldn't have to break out my winter sleeping bag in the desert. Sorta desert. Hot, arid, fertile region. Whatever you call that. Mesopotamia. I shouldn't have to break out my winter sleeping bag in Mesopotamia. Sewiouswy, Pom-Pom.

And I'm out.
