I'm so below average in so many respects it's laughable.

But then again, I use this thing as a writing/exercise journal (and the posting place for the occasional quiz), so what do I expect? About this, that's what.

And yeah, that's a one night, hour-and-a-half total. At a point now where I can end the chapter (which currently weighs in at 4,684 words) if I want to, but I had thought to close it up a bit more tightly. Hopefully I can do it in five hundred words or so, or this is going to be a looooong chapter for me.

And I could have written them in the time I gave myself (which I still exceeded by ten minutes) if I'd been typing; not if I'd been sitting at my computer, as has been mentioned here repeatedly. But I'm giving more and more thought to the idea of picking up an old/used laptop for just such purposes. What I'm having a hard time fathoming is how much very old laptops are going for on E-Bay... it's almost discouraging that way. But I'm going to run over to this place called PC Exchange after I get home today and see what they've got.

And now... time to go work my arms.
