The Simpsons, Last Sunday
Apr. 11th, 2006 12:28 pmSomehow I think commenting on Simpson's episodes went by the wayside before LJ and blogs really got on that terrifying upswing of popularity. So in my continuing tradition of being late to the party, I figured I'd just have to say:
Did you see The Simpsons last Sunday? Did you??
Okay, so maybe only me and
splash_the_cat and
iuliamentis and some others would be really geeked out over it, but...
Richard Dean Anderson! MacGyver AND Stargate SG-1!
In the Homer-to-India plot, Homer pretends to be a god!! (And if you really want to get into it, he comes as, essentially, a slave driver who didn't invent the technology that he brings, doesn't really know how it works, and all the work of the locals goes to benefit other people far away. Sounds like an SG1 ep to me...)
Interesting now how RDA has dipped back into the MacGyver well twice now, with the Simpsons and that MasterCard SuperBowl commercial. I wonder when we can expect the movie remake.
