Last night, I bought CopyWrite, a writing/project management program for Mac OS X, recommended by the sage
tobiasbuckell. Very, very cool stuff. Basically, it's a very trim word processor inside a focused project management program. Everything's linked through a project binder, including separate note-taking spaces for each individual document. That there's software like this out there for the Mac enhances, I think, its image as the computer of choice for them thar creative types. I know that's not quite the case, and I'm sure that there's similar (and similarly priced) stuff out there for Windows, but still.
I also downloaded an IM client called Adium, which has so far managed to work pretty well with the services I use, and looks pretty good to boot.
Last week, I signed up for Netflix, and when I got home from my galavanting about on Monday, I had The Adventures of Baron Munchausen waiting for me. Yesterday I got home early from work, decided to sit and watch it (since
tappu never will)... and promptly fell asleep. I got a couple other movies that the wife might sit and watch with me, but otherwise I'm looking forward to catching up on my movie-viewing, especially when it comes to Terry Gilliam's classics.
Also, this snowing-melting-snowing-melting thing is getting a bit old. I say let's be done with it.
