Yep. Just chilling.

Today I cleared the one potential final hurdle to coming home on-time, which was getting the Battalion Medical Officer to sign a form that said I am fit to be separated from active duty. He did in fact sign it, and so I am ready to come home :) Current rumor is that we'll be home Saturday evening, and many folks are coming down to see me come home :)

My dear sister, [livejournal.com profile] dsudis is, however, not. I just want to go on the record as saying that she's a big doodie head, and I'll be officially cross at her for a good five minutes. SHE gets no hugs until the 23rd.

Anyway, the only thing that really sucks about being on Camp Pendleton is that we're in one of the more remote camps, surrounded by hills/mountains, and my cellphone does not work there. Happily, we now have liberty out in town every evening, so I ought to be able to call my darling wife from Oceanside, where reception is, of course, good.

Lastly, I'll be posting some stuff that I've been saving up since March, including the aforementioned stuff about leaving Iraq, and probably soon after I get back to MI.

And I'm out.
