davidklecha: Listening to someone else read the worst of my teenage writing. (Default)
Saturday night, I kicked off the new chapter and wrote 756 words, then another 428 Sunday (slow day, what with being so busy watching the racing[1] and football and whatnot), and 956 more Monday. So, productive. 2140 deep into Chapter 13 and things are going well. Got some nice symmetry working in the chapter as I flip back and forth between the two POVs. Very excited about it all.

Ran around the neighborhood this morning and it was COLD. Wifey and I have started doing some basic calisthenics in the morning. For me, it's been a warm-up for the day, for her it's been a little more, but that's okay. She needs to get a bit stronger.

[1] HOLY SH*T! Did you see Eliot Sadler do the quadruple flip? Four and a half time he went around, two of those times in the air, or mostly. Crazy. Thank God he got out and (more or less) walked away. I heard they choppered him to the hospital (saw him being loaded all strapped down with a neck brace and everything), but that he was released not long after he got there.
